With more than 25 years in the audiovisual industry and more than 10 years running TechCon, LLC, a leading staffing company in the Washington, DC metropolitan area, he considered new systems and techniques that would make operations of his business, and the industry more broadly, run with greater efficiency and higher profitability. With no software on the market meeting all of his demands, he began conceptualizing Snäbb in 2016. Under his leadership, his team developed an app that doesn’t just take the busy work out of field management services but also helps labor providers, their clients and technicians make shrewd decisions and build sustainable and thriving companies. Understanding the value of new technology, Kervin’s vision for the pioneering app is one example of how he has maintained his longevity and influence in the staffing industry through constant innovation.
Marcus Jones is a lead developer and designer of Snäbb. With more than 10 years of experience in the audiovisual industry, he combined his on-the-ground knowledge of the AV practice and business with market research to conceptualize an innovative app that’s valuable to all field service management industries. For him, it was key to design software that streamlines all resources and processes needed to operate, maintain and grow a staffing company as well as widens opportunities for technicians to break into the field, find jobs and land gigs. He holds an associate of science degree in audio engineering and has hands-on experience in every discipline of the field service industry, from scheduling and processing payroll to leading crews and working as a technician.
